LAKE HAVASU CITY:
Most people recognize Lake
Havasu City as the home of the London Bridge. Although this is true, Lake Havasu
City is also a thriving community and a popular vacation destination. Lake Havasu
City boasts over 50,000 residents. In Winter this number increases as "snow
birds" flock to the city to enjoy the warm climate and escape the cold weather in
their home towns. Others folks come to town to see the famous bridge, enjoy boating,
off-road activities, hiking, fishing, golf, camping, scuba diving and more.

During the Spring and Summer
months, Lake Havasu City is a haven for boaters who come to enjoy approximately 75 miles
of shoreline, beautiful scenery and camping beaches.
Aside from the Lake itself, Lake
Havasu City boasts many amenities including golf, shopping,
restaurants, medical/hospital services, industry, recreation, clean air, no traffic and
fun! Across the Lake is a gambling casino. A shuttle boat runs from the Lake
Havasu channel to and from the casino many times a day.
Lake Havasu City isn't too far
from "big city life" either.
Distance to/from Laughlin, NV -

In the past few years, property
values steadily increased in Lake Havasu City. Today, the market has leveled
off. With inventory up, there are plenty of opportunities for those who are
interested in relocating here or are thinking about purchasing a vacation or investment
home. Aside from single family residences (including residential estates), lots are
available, duplexes, condominiums, townhouses, commercial property and also manufactured
homes/trailers in parks where you own your land.

Lake Havasu City is steadily
growing too. The construction of a new shopping mall center is underway.
Lowe's home improvement store and The Home Depot are here. A new planned community
is being developed in the foothill area and industry is growing.
The future looks bright for our
resort community!
A BRIEF HISTORY:
In 1963, when Robert McCulloch
bought a 26 sqare mile parcel in the desert of Arizona for less than $75.00 per
acre, it was the beginning of what would be known as Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Mr. McCulloch's idea was
to woo weary snow-bound folks from the East and Mid-West into purchasing lots in the
desert. Prospective buyers were flown in on one of McCulloch's fleet of aircraft
and stayed in the Lake Havasu Hotel which was built specifically for the prospective
buyers.
In 1968, McCulloch bought the
London Bridge from England. It took 3 years to prepare and in October 1971, the
bridge was ready to span the Channel that was specfically dredged to accommodate it.
Each year thousands come to see the Bridge and visit the quaint English Village
shopping center at it's base.
